Robert Osterhoudt (L) deputy commander, Carrier Air Wing 11, dressing out before making his 1,000th arrested landing, or "trap", aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz deployed in the Gulf of Oman. The USS Nimitz aircraft carrier is moving westward toward the Red Sea, although it has not yet received orders to support a potential US strike on Syria, ABC News reported on September 2.
