A picture downloaded on September 4, 2013 from the US Navy website and taken on August 30, 2013 shows an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Black Knights of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 154 launching from the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz in the Arabian sea. The USS Nimitz aircraft carrier is moving westward toward the Red Sea, although it has not yet received orders to support a potential US strike on Syria, ABC News reported on September 2.
