TO GO WITH AFP STORY BY PABLO AIGUEL

People take notes during a visit of the birthplace (background) of French journalist Albert Londres (1884-1932) in Vichy, central France, on June 24, 2014, some weeks ahead of its auction. A "grand reporter" and international correspondent, known also for his social investigations (prostitutes, black people, insane people, etc), Londres perished at sea when the boat he was on returning from China burned for unknown reasons. Each year since 1933, the Albert Londres prize is awarded to a journalist. AFP PHOTO THIERRY ZOCCOLAN
