ISRAEL-WEATHER-STORM
A picture shows the debris washed up on the beach in the Israeli Mediterranean coastal city of Netanya north of Tel Aviv on January 8, 2015 after high winds battered the region the previous day. Temperatures plummeted to zero forcing Israel police closed the two main access routes to Jerusalem several hours before the snow began falling to avoid chaos on the steep approaching roads to the city, which stands at 754 metres (2,474 ft) above sea level.
