Traffic jams on a main road towards Saint-Malo outside Rennes as lorry drivers carry out a go-slow operation, early on January 19, 2015, at the start of a lorry drivers' strike to demand higher salaries. Lorry drivers began a renewable strike to demand higher salaries on the night of January 18, expected to be followed in several main French cities and by slowing traffic and blocking industrial sites and oil depots.
