Obit-Deedee Corradini
In a Dec. 4, 2001 photo, former Salt Lake City Mayor Deedee Corradini carries the Olympic Torch through the streets of Greenville, South Carolina. Corradini, the only female mayor in the history of Salt Lake City who helped bring the Winter Olympics to Utah, died Sunday, March 1, 2015, at her home in Park City from the effects of lung cancer, according to a Women's Ski Jumping USA news release.
