Obit-Deedee Corradini
Salt Lake City Mayor Deedee Corradini waves the Olympic flag after receiving it from IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch during the closing ceremony of the 1998 Nagano Olympics in Nagano, Japan. Corradini, the only female mayor in the history of Salt Lake City who helped bring the Winter Olympics to Utah, died Sunday, March 1, 2015, at her home in Park City from the effects of lung cancer, according to a Women's Ski Jumping USA news release.
