EGYPT-ANTIQUITIES
An intact sarcophagus, one of 619 pieces of rare Pharaonic artifacts Britain has turned over to the Egyptian authorities after they were smuggled out of the country nearly four years ago, is seen in a box during a press conference held by Egypt-s Culture Minister Faruk Hosni in Cairo 25 October 2004. Egyptian prosecutors arrived eleven days ago with the looted treasures that included 485 "original and rare pieces of artefacts", according to the official MENA agency. The collection included many items stolen from Cairo-s Egyptian Museum in 2000. AFP PHOTO/MONA MURSI
