NETHERLANDS-BANKING-ABN-JOBS
(FILES) Photo taken in 2003 showing the headquarters of ABN Amro in Amsterdam. Dutch banking group ABN Amro said, 16 December 2004 that it would shed 2,850 jobs under a plan to speed up cost cutting to save 770 million euros (1.024 billion dollars) from 2007. A third of the job losses would occur in the Netherlands, but would not involve obligatory redundancy.
