Philipine traders throw confettis in air after the bell of the last trading day of the year rang on the Manila Stock Exchange, 29 December 2004. Philippine share prices closed 0.17 percent lower as investors took profits on select blue-chips on the last trading day of the year, dealers said. The Philippine Stock Exchange composite index shed 3.15 points to 1,822.83. It moved between 1,814.88 and 1,832.15 points. AFP PHOTO Joel NITO
