INDIA-ASIA-QUAKE-TSUNAMI-SHELTER
Indian woman Bhupadi, who was displaced by the tsunami, shelters in the railway station in Nagapattinam some 350 kms south of Madras, 01 January 2005. The fishing colony of Akkrapattai was a prosperous one which boasted 5,000 homes, today it is a ghost town, following the devastating tsunami disaster which killed upwards of 125,000 throughout the region.
