NETHERLANDS-WESTERBORK-MONUMENT
(FILES) A file photo taken 22 February 2004 shows a monument placed in May 1970 at the Dutch World War II transit camp in Westerbork. Some 102,000 Dutch Jews transited at Westerbrook before being deported to the Auschwitz death camp in Poland. The names of the victims were read aloud overnight 24 January 2005. The oral act of remembrance, which began in Amsterdam 23 January 2005, will be completed 27 January 2005 to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. AFP PHOTO/KOEN SUYK
