BOLIVIA-REFERENDUM-MORALES
The President of Bolivia Evo Morales Ayma (C) gives out the new Constitution during a demonstration outside the governmental palace and after the congress passed the law to call a referendum on it, on October 21, 2008 in La Paz. Morales promulgated the congress's law calling a referendum on a new constitution that will be held January 25, within an hour of it being passed by more than the required two-thirds of legislators in a bid to calm a protracted political crisis. If the revised constitution is passed, it would put a limit on the size of land holdings and distribute more of the nation's revenues to the mostly poor indigenous majority from which Morales himself hails.AFP PHOTO/PRESIDENCIA - Jose Luis Quintana
