(FILES) A picture taken on July 25, 1964, shows models of French fashion designer Ted Lapidus in front of his Paris. Ted Lapidus, Russian-born, 79, whose career soared in the 1960s and 1970s with the unisex and safari look, suffered for several years from leukemia and died on December 29, 2008, in a hospital in Cannes on the French Rivera, his family said.
